Lee Tropical Fruit Festival 2011

FORT MYERS — Local fruits and tropical goodies were on display at the 4th annual Taste of Lee Tropical Fruit Festival held at the First Baptist Church of Fort Myers on Saturday.

The event was sponsored by the University of Florida IFAS Extension and the Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange.

The event is designed to introduce people to the varieties of fruits that grow locally in Southwest Florida, said Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange president Rachel Singletary.

Annual membership in the Caloosa Rare Fruit Exchange is $15.
